High River Chicken Inc. is a free run farm based in the South of Calgary. This local farm raise cage-less flocks, on vegetation fed, without the use of hormones, steroids or antibiotics ensuring a natural product.

Whole Duck

Raised naturally without the use of hormones or antibiotics, our whole ducks are delicious for any occasion and can be cooked a number of ways, including roasting. Supplied by Brome Lake Farms.

Whole Fresh Turkey

Whole turkeys, perfect for the holiday season. These birds are raised in free-run flocks near Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod, and are only fed a grain and vegetable ration. They are both hormone and antibiotic free, ensuring the best centerpiece to your feast.

Whole Rabbit

Rabbit meat is comparable to poultry, the meat is white and tender, with a mild flavor making it perfect for a variety of cooking styles. The meat has high protein content with a low calorie count. Stop by and talk to our butchers about how they recommend baking and incorporating this meat into stews and pies!

Wild Boar Boneless Shoulder

Wild Boar boneless shoulder has a sweet and nutty flavor and is perfect for hearty, slow-cooked meals. Try using wild boar shoulders instead of conventional pork shoulders for braising dishes. Raised locally and naturally without the use of hormones or antibiotics.

Wild Halibut Fillets

This responsibly raised Halibut is full of omega-3 benefits, vitamin B12 and is loaded with protein. Try it on the grill or for fish tacos.

Ewe-Nique Farms

Ewe-Nique Farms is operated by Bert & Caroline Vande Bruinhorst. At Ewe-Nique Farms, their lambs are raised free ranging on their lush pasture with access to clean water all summer at their family farm in Sourthern Alberta. The lambs are raised without artificial growth hormones or animal by product feeds, and are finished on a natural grain and hay ration.
