- 4 Pioneer Bison Burger patties
- Preserved Haskap Jam
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 onions
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- Brie cheese
Step 1- Heat 1 tbsp of butter and olive oil over medium heat.
Step 2- Add 1.5 chopped onions to the pan and coat in butter & oil.
Step 3- Stir every 5 minutes.
Step 4- After 15 minutes, add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of sugar.
Step 5- Stir every 5 minutes until onions are caramelized (about 30 minutes total)
Step 6- While the onions are caramelizing, add burgers to the barbeque at medium-high to high heat.
Step 7- Once burgers are just about cooked, add brie and let it melt for 2 minutes.
Step 8- Top burgers with caramelized onions and Haskap Jam
Step 9- Enjoy!
